COMPULSORY INSURANCE CHARGE
There is a compulsory insurance charge of £1.00 per pet PER STAY (not per night) to cover the cost of insurance while they are here. This covers (amongst other things) vets fees for any condition which develops WHILE THEY ARE HERE. It does not cover any illness which is deemed by the vet to have occured before the animals arrival.
In the event of the insurance company not paying out, for whatever reason,
ALL VET'S FEES WILL BE OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITY AND
ARE TO BE PAID AT THE TIME OF COLLECTION.
Tortoises are charged at the following daily rate -
One Tortoise - £3.75
Two Tortoises - £5.25
Small caged animals and birds - eg hamsters or budgies - are charged at the following rates per day:
£1.75 per cage per day
Large caged animals - eg rats, cockatiels or parrots - are charged at the
following rates per day
£2.75 per cage per day
DEPOSITS:
A non-refundable deposit of £10 is payable at time of booking . Balance is due on arrival

CANCELLATION FEES:
There has been a marked increase in people booking their pets in to stay with me JUST IN CASE they go away, knowing how busy I am, and to ensure that if they do go away, their pets can come & stay with me. I have then found that I am turning away customers who have actually got a holiday booked, only to find that the people who initially booked their pets in "just in case" are not going away after all, and they then cancel their pets stay at the last minute! In one case I only found out that the pets were not coming when I phoned the owner the night before they were due to arrive, to check their arrival time!!!!!
Obviously this is not at all fair to customers who have got thier own holiday booked, so I have had to implement a cancellation fee to try & prevent this happening in the future.
The following cancellation fees after a booking is confirmed in writing to you apply:
Cancellation at any time up to 28 days before arrival date - £10 loss of deposit
Cancellation 14 - 28 days prior to arrival date - 25% of boarding fee
Cancellation 7 - 13 days prior to arrival date - 50% of boarding fee
Cancellation 0 - 6 days prior to cancellation date - 100% of boarding fee
CLAW CLIPPING FOR NON-BOARDERS
Claw clipping service for non-boarding guinea pigs can carried out here
at a cost of £3.00 per piggy
