New for 2010 is our facebook page where I will be posting photos and details of what your pets have been up to on their holiday so that you can keep up to date with them while you are away. You will also be able to ask questions about them, make requests, leave any information you may have forgotten to tell me or simply say hello to them!

If you are thinking about bringing your pets to us, you can always become a fan just to see what our wee visitors get up to while on holiday before you make up your mind.
FOUR NEW RUNS
Due to the increase in bunnies boarding with us,we have had custom-built seven and a half foot all-weather runs built (July 2010). They are in a block of four, so bunnies can see their neighbours which is great for single bunnies. They have a solid roof, are six feet high and are predator-proof and escape proof, so bunnies can be outside all day, in all weathers if you so wish. Each with their own house, they are the ultimate in bunny runs!
NEW LARGER HUTCHES NOW HERE
I have just had delivered (April 2010) three deluxe hutches which will enable larger families of piggies to stay together and give bunnies more room. They are five feet long and two feet deep, but will have the option of joining up to three hutches together for larger groups of pets. They were made especially for me to my own design for the added comfort of our guests
NEW OUTDOOR TORTOISE ENCLOSURE
Work is now completed on building an outdoor tortoise enclosure (April 2010), so that our tortoise visitors have somewhere of their own to play during the day. Built in a lovely sunny spot in the garden, it is tortoise proof and features the following:
-
tortoise friendly plants to encourage natural grazing behaviour and variation of diet
-
sheltered areas to hide
-
shaded areas to escape the sun thereby regulating body temperature
-
a variety of substrates - primarily sand and gravel
-
shallow water bath
-
rocks to sunbathe on
Tortoises will not be left outside at night, nor if we are not at home thereby maintaining their safety and security. They are never mixed, so tortoises get exclusive use of the new enclosure or garden. If we are in the garden, tortoises are allowed to go "free-range", but we do keep an eye on them to make sure that they are not eating anything they shouldn't!
Our new outdoor tortoise area (photo taken 15th April 2010) which visiting tortoises will have exclusive access to while we are here. They will of course be locked away securely at night or if we are out | ![]() |

Our new deluxe hutches (which arrived 1st April 2010) mean that we can give bunny visitors more room as they are extra deep, and we can accommodate larger groups of guinea pigs, as they have the option of being linked together by ramps or used individually |
Our All-weather Bunny runs mean that no matter what the weather, your bunnies will be hopping about to their hearts content! In the shade of two fifty foot Ash trees, each run is seven and a half feet long and comes with it's own outdoor hutch for added protection. Bunnies are only in these during the day when I am here. They have a football and tunnel and playbark to dig in..... bunny heaven! This photo was taken July 2010 when they were first built, and this is one of four runs (with Archie demonstrating beautifully!)
